At the turn of the century, ranch hand Kyle Rosfeld hung up his spurs looking for a creative outlet for his artistic talents. He founded The Sandhills Boot Company. Turning his attention from fixing fence and pulling calves to creating handmade, custom fit cowboy boots, Kyle has built a business where he was raised, in the heart of working cowboy country - Valentine , Nebraska.

Using traditional construction methods, Kyle has made custom boots that vary in style from plain black ropers to wild colored buckaroos and lace shoes and boots ranging from under the ankle Victorian oxfords to under the knee western packers. One theme runs throughout all his bespoke footwear - guaranteed to fit.

Kyle creates handmade boots to withstand the daily rigors of both a cowboy’s life and a stock broker’s. His boots are as comfortable in the saddle as they are on cement sidewalks. Constructed of top quality materials, these are boots to last a lifetime. Kyle also makes chaps, vests, handbags and other quality leather notions in his one man shop on the north edge of Nebraska.
